During my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with all branches of the U.S. military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Marines. Through that experience, I developed a deeper appreciation for the meaning behind military awards and the service they represent.
Like many others, I’ve come across medals and decorations and wondered about their history—why they were awarded, what they signify, and the stories behind them. This site is where I share the research, I’ve done to better understand those questions.
